No one ever told me that when you become a mom, taking a bath is a luxury. I’m not stinky–don’t get me wrong. I do bathe. Just not as luxuriously as I used to. When my FatHeadPup was a newborn, I longed for the minute my husband came home, so I could pass off the Pup and run for the shower. I know you, too, have felt that longing for lather.
Even today, now that my little guy is two-years-old, bathing is always a hurried affair. There’s always a ticking clock. There’s always someone waiting for me to get out. Last night! I want it.
I always get an uninterrupted shower but now I’ll be more grateful for it!
I want to be clean.
I can’t remember the last bath, it just doesn’t happen. For a uninterrupted shower it has to take place late at night after everyone has hit the bed.
Umm, uninterrupted bath…a year! Worse now with the puppy! So yes I want to be clean!!!!
