Restock your smell-good stuff at the Bath & Body Works semi-annual sale, now until July 5. As someone who’s spent their fair share of time and disposable income there, here are some tips for scoring big at the sale:
1. First off, shop with this coupon for $10 off a $40+ purchase at Bath & Body Works through 6/27/10 (or use code SALE40 online).
2. Shop weekly. New stuff is brought out every week, so if you had your heart set on clearanced antibacterial soaps, check back often. If you can’t make it into the stores, you can find some of the sale items online as well.
3. Know the goods. Oftentimes, the SAS offers discontinued fragrances, that are no longer available in stores, but brought out twice a year for this sale. An example is an old fav White Tea & Ginger–gone from the shelves but makes its appearance at the sale. Sweet Pea Forever, too, has been discontinued so stock up now.
Also, products that have been repackaged are sold for clearance prices at the sale. So, you’ll find the old packages of Signature collection, Classics collection, Aromatherapy and others marked at least 50% off, if not more. The hot items to look for are those marked 75%, which go quickly. Better yet, you might find the elusive 90% off!
4. Lastly, don’t bring your husband. He’ll only be frustrated by your inexplicable need to purchase 10 different kinds of body lotion or impatient with your indecision, evidenced by your pacing the entire store aimlessly, bouncing from basket to basket. Twice.
