FatHeadDog Deals isn’t another mommy blog. FatHeadDog is a deals site, written by a dog. From free samples, product reviews, free magazines and earning free gift cards online, FatHeadDog Deals helps you save money (or bones, whatever). Founded in 2009, FatHeadDog was created and written by journalist and working mom Shelby Skrhak.
About Shelby Skrhak
Writer/Editor Shelby Skrhak is Managing Web Editor for SUCCESS magazine and SUCCESS.com. An award-winning journalist, Shelby has written sports, musician and celebrity profiles for SUCCESS. As a blogger, her deals and savings site FatHeadDog has been featured on Blog Talk Radio, BlogHer and Power Moms. She has also appeared on a local NBC affiliate as a money-saving expert.
Before her career in online news and social media, Shelby worked her way up from cub reporter to managing editor of a Dallas-market newspaper. At 25, she was tapped to launch a new suburban feature weekly, the Plano Insider.
In her reporting career, she’s covered topics ranging from crime, courts and transportation, to fashion, trends and lifestyle, and won national and regional awards for her excellence in reporting.

Hi Shelby. Glad I found your site, look forward to catching your deals. Growing up I had a soft coated wheaten terrier named Wookie, he actually got to go to college with me. My mom actually still has him in florida. He is the most loyal and gentle dog. My husband and I have an english bulldog and shih tzu now.
