Best Shoe Deals of the Week: 40% All Timberlands, Men’s Boat Shoes for $10

By Martin Schneider, dealnews contributor

Just in time for the autumnal equinox, two End of Season Sales have made our roundup of the top shoe deals of the week. Plus we found 40% off Timberland shoes, up to 70% off Naturalizer, and more. Looking for other styles? Check out our everyday list of shoe deals.

Timberland Coupon
Discount: 40% off via coupon code “BFF12”
    Shipping: From $4.95 s&h
    Expires: September 17

Is It Worth It?: One of our favorite words is “sitewide,” and Timberland obliges us with discounts of up to 40% off sitewide (!) with via coupon code “BFF12”. What’s more, this coupon stacks with sale items — some of which are already 45% off — and makes for the best discount we’ve seen from Timberland in 2012.

The original list price of the Timberland Men’s Eastern Standard Chukka Boots in Tan (pictured) is $475, but the aforementioned coupon slashes their price to just $149.99, making this the lowest total price we could find for these boots by $174. The full-grain burnished leather and suede give these shoes that attractive lived-in look. They’re available in most sizes 7, 9, and 13.

  2. Finish Line End of Season Sale
    Discount: Up to 70% off
    Shipping: From $5.49 s&h

Is It Worth It?: Tied with last week’s mention as the best sale we’ve seen from Finish Line since May, the End of Season Sale takes up to 70% off more than 300 pairs of sneakers, slippers, and other casual footwear. Notable brands include Reebok, Puma, Nike, Skechers, Polo Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Converse, and many more.

  3. adidas End of Season Sale
    Discount: Up to 50% off
Shipping: $5 s&h or free shipping on orders over $49

Is It Worth It?: Since Finish Line is doing an End of Season sale, why not adidas too? They’re taking up to 50% off more than 200 items — not just shoes — although there are plenty of those! Items also include running shorts, track pants, bikinis (seriously), shin guards, and plenty more. The smoothly single-tone adidas Men’s Adi-Rise Mid Shoes in Aluminum (pictured) or Black look like something out of a sci-fi picture, maybe 2001 or even THX-1138? We’re really grooving on the cool side panel with the signature adidas stripes represented in nifty pinholes — it’s a subtle touch that will make people look twice. These’ll run you just $63, which is the lowest total in-stock price we could find by $17. They’re available in sizes 4 to 13, although not in all color/size combinations.

  4. Thom McAn Men’s Keeper Two-Eye Boat Shoes
    Vendor: Kmart
Price: $9.99 with free in-store pickup

    Lowest By: $10

Is It Worth It?: Do you own a boat or plan to own a boat? No? Well, we don’t either. But that’s no reason to avoid these handsome Thom McAn men’s docksiders in Navy for $9.99 — they look good in any context. They feature a Thermoplastic rubber outsole and a seersucker canvas lined insole. You don’t need us to tell you that when you dip below the $10 mark, you’re in Editors’ Choice territory — this is one of the best deals we’ve ever seen on men’s boat shoes. They’re available in sizes 6.5 to 12.

  5. Naturalizer Women’s Shoes Sale
Discount: Up to 70% off with an extra 15% off via coupon code “NAFALL66”
Shipping: Free shipping via coupon code “NAFALL66”
    Expires: October 8

Is It Worth It?: A bewildering variety of Naturalizer women’s shoes are available this month at deep discounts of up to 70% off with an additional 15% via coupon code “NAFALL66”, which also bags free shipping. This Editors’ Choice deal on pumps, flats, mules, boots, sandals, slippers, sneakers, and even some handbags is the best we’ve seen from Naturalizer this year.
